Job Summary

This individual will be responsible for developing and executing the strategic initiatives for Maggiano’s Little Italy, a company with 54 restaurants in the USA. The marketing manager will be responsible for building a positive brand image through our digital guest experience to drive sales, traffic, and frequency and loyalty. Must be detail-oriented with ability to prioritize projects, sequence activities, be collaborative and manage deliverables that are aligned with business priorities. 

Responsible for developing and executing strategic digital media initiatives, including developing and managing campaigns, actively managing the brand’s social media properties, and integrating social media into the overall brand strategy.

Key Job Functions

  • Work closely with marketing team and agency partners to identify digital guest experiences that will drive business results.
  • Responsible for helping to execute a cohesive digital experience that drives sales through our website, search, social media, guest loyalty program, and email database.
  • Monitor business performance, including competitive environment, consumer trends, new technology & digital trends.
  • Partner with agency on email strategy, sends, and content that drives engagement.
  • Lead Maggiano’s social content across the three main platforms in order to drive engagement and brand awareness (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram)
    • Includes: content ideation, creation, content copywriting, creating editorial calendars
  • In partnership with social team, create platform specific strategies based on brand campaigns and initiatives
  • Collaborate with greater marketing team to ensure our brand voice is cohesive
  • Establishing social media and email success metrics to report to the the brand leadership team on a regular basis.
  • Lead campaign creative review process and provide feedback in a timely manner and ensure schedule of timelines are being met.
  • Builds and maintains a thorough understanding of the business and competitive environment; routinely contributes to competitive strategy projects.
  • Helps to ensure all projects are being executed flawless and all project deadlines are being met.

What You Bring to the Team

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, advertising or communications    
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing, advertising or a related field
  • Excellent understanding of branding, marketing and advertising principles
  • Expert knowledge of major social channels
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Applied analytics sensibility with proven ability to make profitable decisions based on data  
  • Ability to use independent judgment to organize and prioritize work, manage resources, and solve problems.    
  • Experience in partnering with outside agencies & cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent understanding of marketing and advertising principles – with emphasis in digital web, & social marketing.
  • Strong communication, analytical and project management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in dynamic fast paced environment must be self-starter with high energy and desire to drive the business.
  • Ability to effectively work under time pressure.
  • Highly collaborative work style; must work well with people.
  • Strong focus on results, not just activity.
  • Restaurant or hospitality industry experience a plus.
