 Job Summary

 Brinker is looking for an experienced MDM Architect to join our team. This role will include key responsibilities for designing, configuring, and developing business solutions using various MDM technologies. This role will involve collaborating with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand master data management requirements and challenges, as you identify opportunities for the design of best of breed MDM solutions.

 This role will be assessing requirements, designing, and implementing successful Master Data Management solutions that comprise of data cleansing, data ingestion pipelines, business process workflow, de-duplication, and standardization.

 The MDM Architect understands both technical and functional design and brings perspective from all architecture domains (process, application, integration, data, technology, and security) into the solution design of Master Data Management capabilities that support broader portfolio capabilities (e.g. Marketing, Culinary, Operations, Supply Chain, etc.)

 Our goal is to create robust, sustainable, and flexible designs which enable world-class MDM execution. We are seeking a candidate with a proven track record.

 Your Key Job Functions 

·        Lead and create overall master data solution architectures, component designs, system landscapes, governance workflows, and systems integration and implementations for a particular business solution (e.g. Products, Supplier, and Customer data domains).

·        Integrate disparate data models into coherent enterprise data models.

·        Create data dictionaries and business glossaries to document data lineages, data definitions, and metadata for all business-critical master data domains.

·        Lead efforts in defining, documenting, and estimating the following for enterprise master data applications: Capture requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, hardware, and operating system environment, on-prem, hybrid and cloud topologies, interfaces with other systems, internal and external checks and controls, system inputs and output.

·        Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their master data requirements, pain points, and objectives, and translate them into scalable and sustainable MDM architectures and designs.

·        Produce relevant solution design artifacts including but not limited to technical estimates, conceptual, logical, and physical system designs, sequence diagrams, and data models.

·        Partner with architects, other technical team members and to develop roadmaps and strategies to support KPIs.

·        Consult with teams as needed on initiatives and provide tactical direction as well as provide architecture considerations on legacy solutions.

·        Provide expert guidance on master data governance strategies, data governance frameworks, and data management principles, helping clients establish effective governance structures and policies.

·        Define data migration strategies and oversee data migration activities, ensuring the accurate and seamless transition of master data from legacy systems.

·        Provide thought leadership and contribute to the development of best practices, methodologies, and tools for Master Data Governance architecture and design. 

What You Bring to the Team 

·        Bachelor’s degree in a data-focused discipline, or the equivalent in skill and training. Master's degree preferred.

·        7+ years of Data Architecture experience leading MDM architecture roadmaps, defined business cases, and implementation efforts.

·        Deep understanding of master data management principles, data governance frameworks, and industry best practices.

·        Experience developing and implementing ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) logic with low-code/no-code solutioning frameworks.

·        Excellent leadership, communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

·        Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex business requirements and architect innovative solutions.

·        Broad understanding of Data Architecture and Data Management approaches and implementation methodologies.

·        Hands-on experience with business processes across multiple master data domains.

·        Ability to work with business as well as IT stakeholders.

·        Demonstrated experience in Conceptual, Logical, Physical and Dimensional Modeling.

·        Experience with Agile/Scrum is valuable.

·        Ability to work creatively and analytically in a team environment.

·        Must be comfortable presenting complex technology subjects to both technical and nontechnical audiences.

·        Familiarity with standard change control procedures and documentation best practices for data movement.

·        Proficient in MS Office.

·        Be customer centric; listening, understanding, and responding to customer needs while being committed to the customer first philosophy, including both internal and external customers.

·        Proven team player with willingness to learn and help others.

·        Proven ability to keep information confidential. 

·        Detail oriented and highly organized; perform duties with a high level of accuracy.

·        Excellent time management skills to complete all responsibilities.  Ability to identify and eliminate low return tasks. 

·        Exhibit the ability to improvise, adapt, and overcome unforeseen obstacles to achieve desired results. 

·        Excel at working independently; ability to handle responsibilities and/or problems with little supervision.
