Job Description
This is a Sr. Management position providing oversight, guidance and leadership for the IT Hardware Deployments Team at Brinker International. The Sr. Manager participates overseas and has a team that is assigned to various technology deployment efforts at Brinker with an emphasis on it's Brands and in-restaurant hardware technology assets or supporting systems. This individual would be responsible for direct reporting personnel who also facilitate hardware deployment, life-cycle management, roadmap planning, testing and analysis related activities at Brinker. The individual would be responsible for developing roadmaps, release schedules, task management/assignment, scheduling, installation services and support and working closely with all applicable Vendors, Procurement and Supply Chain. This person would be involved in contractual review and build process in addition SCOPE and SOW creation for incremental needs or as desired. Must be able to work with Business Community and Vendor Partners to gather requirements and translate that to Implementation needs or activities. Must be a team player with an ability to work with various groups within the IT department and across the Business. The individual must have the ability to work concurrently on multiple projects.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular forecasting processes, including assessments around project/maintenance budgets, engaging with vendors and cross functional Teams throughout the business to align and form plans to drive roadmaps and support the technology hardware life cycle for Brinker's restaurants.
- Oversee and managed assigned work activities across direct Team.
- Facilitate the scheduling of resources to appropriate assignments based on timing, capacity, levels, skills, and other requirements.
- Support overall Team and cross functional partners to overcome barriers and drive results.
- Collaborate with other Deployment Managers to ensure the optimal allocation and cross-utilization of resources, working together to comprehensively assess supply and demand across the business.
- Understand the skills, experiences, and career goals of direct Team.
- Interact daily with Team and partners to change, align or recommunicate updates and priorities as required.
- Oversee the day-to-day activities of respective hardware Deployment Team, delegate relevant tasks, resolve scheduling conflicts, and handle any escalations applicable to responsible area.
- Participate in calibration meetings and discussions with Manager, peer group, People Works and direct Team..
- Use scheduling tools to forecast hours, track utilization, plot work activities and assignments.
- Proactively communicate resource availability and project status with upper management and Project Leads, including ad hoc follow-ups.
- Work with team members to address and remediate identified issues and variances to planned activities.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with team members of all levels.
- Provide consistent interactions with the business.
- In coordination with RM Regional / Practice Deployment Managers and Service Line Deployment Leads, determine the appropriate cadence to meet regularly with respective Team Leader, Managing Principal, and Practice Leader level stakeholders to review and enhance resource management strategies for respective business units and deliver leadership reporting.
Your Key Job Functions
- Own, manage and oversee the collective body of hardware technology assets and end-points across Brinker's restaurants and brands.
- Collaborate with peer group, IT resources and cross functional business parties on a day to day basis in support of Brinker's in-restaurant technology hardware portfolio.
- Oversee and manage various vendors
- Build, develop and maintain a robust Team of hardware focused engineering technologists.
- Interact with upper level management on forecasting, budgeting, strategy and key business decisions relative to technology landscape and ecosystems.
- Maintain and drive a positive and successful sentiment across your Team and work efforts even the face of adversity and possible failure.
What You Bring to the Team
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
- A minimum of 10+ years of rel
