Job Summary

The HRIS Supervisor is a new role within Brinker's HR organization that will oversee all aspects of end-user (up to 2nd-level) support for the Core HR module within Oracle HCM.  In addition to supervising the support function, this position will actively research and resolve support cases/requests.

Partner closely with HR, Payroll, IT, and other business stakeholders to ensure the integrity and performance of HCM systems and processes.  This role will oversee all aspects of 2nd-level support cases and requests, ensuring adherence to service levels such as response and resolution time, accuracy, etc. This position will have supervisor-level responsibility for one or two junior-level HRIS roles.  Experience with other Oracle HR related modules (Benefits, Absence, Compensation, etc.) will be very beneficial.

Your Key Job Functions

System Administration

  • Serve as a functional expert for the Oracle Core HR module.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiencies within the HRIS and related processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues and anomalies, engaging Oracle IT counterparts as required
  • Collaborate with HR and business partners to understand requirements and identify process improvements to optimize system efficiency and end-user adoption.
  • Demonstrate excellent analytical and communication skills to inform stakeholders and end-users of trends, issues, resolutions, system navigation, etc. 
  • Develop and maintain strong, collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders and counterparts within the IT Oracle Center of Excellence.
  • Ensure data integrity by identifying anomalies and consult with other HRIS Team Members to resolve.
  • Collaborate with IT Oracle Center of Excellence teams to test functionality, system behavior and end-user impact associated with system changes, enhancements, fixes, etc., prior to going live in the production environment.
  • Participate in requirements gathering for both application changes and integration development
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, data governance, and information security standards
  • Strong analytical skills; problem solving and follow-through with sense of accountability
  • Ability to work with limited supervision and provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.
  • Collaborate with other HR, Payroll, and IT functional partners and 3rd parties in support of HCM Application portfolio.

Stakeholder Support

  • Interpret technical details and simplify info/concepts for non-technical stakeholders and end-users.
  • Serve as the primary escalation resource for HRIS related support issues and requests.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the HRIS support experience.
  • Provide support to senior-level HRIS team members.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Oversees day-to-day support issues related to the Oracle Core HR module and HRIS functions.  NOTE: In the future, this role could also be responsible for support issues related to other Oracle HCM modules such as Benefits, Absence, etc.
