ROLE OVERVIEW

We're looking for a creative, strategic, and forward-thinking leader to head up Leadership Development for the organization. This role will report into the VP of Learning and Talent Development and be responsible for establishing a future-facing leadership development strategy. In addition to the strategy, this role will partner with the People Leadership Team to establish a modern and simplified leadership framework and curriculum that is focused on building the leadership behaviors that will enable the continued growth of the business. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 
  • Leadership Development Strategy
    Partner with the People Leadership Team to establish a leadership development strategy that will build the leadership skills necessary to drive the continued growth of the business. The strategy will lay out a 3-5 year roadmap, include the approach to leadership development, and how we will deliver, sustain and measure success along the way. 
  • Leadership Capability Framework
    Partner with the People Leadership Team to refine, simplify, and modernize the existing Leadership Capability Framework. This Framework will identify and define the Leadership Capabilities, Skills, and Behaviors leaders will need to demonstrate to drive the continued growth of the business. 
  • Leadership Development Curriculum
    Access the existing leadership development curriculum and create a simplified and modernized development plan that will build critical leadership behaviors across all leaders in the organization from restaurant managers to the Restaurant Support Center. Upon completion of the plan, this role will partner with the People Leadership Team to design, develop, and/or refresh the existing leadership curriculum. 
  • Leadership & Personality Assessment

Partner with the People Leadership Team to create and implement a leadership and personality assessment strategy from selection, ongoing development, and succession planning. 

  • Belonging and Wellbeing
    Creating a sense of belonging and wellbeing for all Team Members is part of Brinker's Purpose. This role will be responsible for creating a holistic plan focused on belonging and building awareness and utilization of the suite of wellbeing benefits offered to Team Members. 
  • Data, Analytics & AI
    As part of the overarching leadership development strategy, this role will be responsible for determining what data and insights should be leveraged to inform the leadership development strategy through targeted development planning for certain roles and levels and how and where to leverage AI to enable a great learner experience.

  • 10+ years of experience in the Leadership Development space for a mid to large size organization with focus on frontline to executive level
