Job Summary
The Oracle EPM Analyst supports the Oracle Enterprise Performance Management suite, focusing on modules such as PBCS (Planning & Budgeting), ARCS (Account Reconciliation), EDMCS (Enterprise Data Management), and Narrative Reporting. This role is designed for an analytically driven professional with strong application knowledge, reporting capabilities, and experience in financial planning and reconciliation cycles. The analyst partners with the EPM Architect and Finance stakeholders to improve system performance, manage integrations, and drive planning and reporting enhancements aligned to Brinker's strategic objectives.
Your Key Job Functions
- Provide daily functional and technical support for Oracle EPM applications, including issue resolution, performance monitoring, and security maintenance.
- Maintain and enhance metadata, business rules, and forms in PBCS; oversee data integrations and data loads across source systems.
- Support reconciliation and close cycles in ARCS; troubleshoot matching rules, mappings, and manual adjustments.
- Drive improvements in narrative reporting, planning processes, and application usability.
- Partner with the COE team, Finance, and IT to support annual budgeting, periodic forecasting, and financial planning cycles.
- Ensure system alignment with audit, compliance, and governance standards.
- Support quarterly Oracle Cloud EPM release testing and perform regression validation.
- Build Smart View templates, ad hoc queries, and reporting tools to enhance business decision-making.
- Collaborate with Oracle and implementation partners to resolve application issues and explore platform enhancements.
- Create and maintain documentation for business processes, data flows, configurations, and training materials.
What You Bring to the Team
- 4-8 years supporting Oracle EPM Cloud applications (PBCS, ARCS, EDMCS, etc.)
- Functional knowledge of budgeting, planning, account reconciliation, and close processes
- Experience with Smart View, Data Management, and EPM Automate preferred
- Familiarity with integrations from ERP systems (e.g., GL feeds, project data)
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation, testing, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and operate independently
- Understanding of audit and compliance considerations within EPM platforms
